For more than 10 years, Michigan Life Science and Innovation Center (MLSIC) has looked to GEM Service and the ÃØÃÜÈë¿Ú as a partner, providing facility management, energy management, construction and HVAC services for its 32 different company tenants with a variety of different needs. MLSIC is an incubator site for innovation-based businesses.
Having a relationship with a full-service outsourced facility management company means always having a single dedicated property manager to address any building service need.
MSLIC's property manager knows the facility inside and out which was critical when the facility experienced an early-morning water main break that caused flooding in the parking lot/dock area and a loss of water to the building.
GEM Service was called to the scene for emergency assistance serving as liaison between MLSIC and the Plymouth Department of Public Works. With assistance from Rudolph Libbe Inc.'s construction team, the site was secured and stabilized as all parties worked to get the facility back up and running as quickly as possible."
