Inverness Club, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a nationally recognized golf club, which has hosted many major championships including the 2009 NCAA Championship and the 2011 U.S. Senior Open. The club is host to the LPGA's and has been making improvements throughout the physical buildings as well as the course.
The club favored the GEM Service 鈥渁ll-in-one鈥 preventive maintenance agreement, which included removing the 30 year-old cooling tower, chiller, pumps and piping, and installing a new 100-ton, air-cooled chiller. Club leadership also opted to secure a Sustainable Preventive Maintenance (SPM) agreement. With this type of agreement, capital equipment projects are self-funded/financed through your scheduled maintenance agreement. GEM Service manages the financing process and the paperwork for you.
The SPM agreement includes four scheduled maintenance visits per year by a GEM Service technician who will ensure all equipment is running efficiently. It also covers any urgent service calls that Inverness may require in between the scheduled visits. Covered under the Inverness SPM agreement are 68 mechanical units which heat and cool all buildings throughout the 200-acre course.
